Back home

Well, sadly the time came in Icapui and Ibicuitaba to say good bye. Joris drove us kindly up to Fortaleza but we missed the flight,cause the plane went earlier then what was written on our tickets. But luckily we met Joris again and so we made a hell of a party night in Orbita in Fortaleza. Sunday nights in Orbita kick ass ,man. Next day we catched the flight down to Rio de Janeiro. There we made two days hardcore sightseeing on Corcovado and Pao de Azucar. Wow, what a city...we both were at so many Citys in the world but Rio is really one of the most beautiful we ever saw. For our long flight back home they changed the flight again, but luckily not over Sao Paulo, direct from Rio over Paris to Zurich.
Now, we are back home and what we have are wonderful memories and a lot of Photos.

Rio

Another 5 days

After quite a long time here in Icapui,and Joris(our host) taking us on small trips to other secret beautiful spots,we decided to go to the well known Canoa Quebrada for a night or two.Finally it became just one.Its really beautiful with its amazing beach , red cliffs,and the dunes.And the nightlife must be a blast ,but we were too tired to experience that.We spended the night in a house which was owned by a brasilian friend of my (Nina) boss in Zurich.Very beautiful house,a bit like a church but also a bit scary.after that we found out that no one else were staying there and the maid was leaving at 5.So, me and geri,2 crazy barking dogs,a "schmuselkatze" and a big painting of Jesus above our bed.And...at least 35C,hardly let us sleep that night.

Well,as we said before,everything has an end.......(only the sausage has 2)....sad but true.This trip has really been amazing.We saw so many beautiful places,met tons of good people,had the time of our lives.And now its ending very soon.Feels a bit sad.Tomorrow evening we fly to Rio for 3 days before we have our flight back to the reality....It s gonna be tough.Imean It s always nice to come back home after a long time away but.......................Sure we gonna have some small crisis,so I think we have to start planning the next vacation as soon as possible.Anyway for those who wanna know when we get back (Only if we survive Rio of course)hi hi hi Arriving in Zurich the 15 th of feb. 18:55 with Air france AF 5108 from Paris.

The journey is ending soon

Well, the days are going on very fast now, its always like this when the end is so close. We got very used to this life and made some wonderful friends. But on the other hand it seems also that the rainseason is very close ,cause the weather had change the last couple of days. Joris, our belgian host and in the meantime very good friend, took us for two days up north to Fortaleza end even more north to Cumbuco,which is actually the capitol of kitesurfing in Brasil. We passed also Parajuru and Uruau and we found out what we did to stay down in Icapui was the best decision for us. Without a 4x4 Car its kind of impossible to visit all this small beach villages without any paved roads and around Cumbuco it can be also quite dangerous. There are a lot of rumors and stories around about the security and it seem they have a real problem up there. It s such a pity cause the landscape is amazing beautiful up there. Well, we tried very hard to change our flight tickets because we found out there is a flight from Recife aswell,would be perfect for us cause we really dont want to go south to the big Citys Rio and Sao Paolo. But after running trough Fortaleza and everybody telling us another story we gave up.

In the only Bar 10km from here we are in the meantime knowned very well. We had so many funny nights there and last time I even played Guitar ans sang my famous Ronan Keating songs on stage to the surprised Brasilian Crowd. We had such a good laugh and i won a free night in the pousada of Joris. Typical swiss ha,for money they do everything....
